Yes it is confirmed, paypal now allows local users to withdraw your paypal money to a local bank account and in vice versa, add funds to your paypal from a Philippine based bank account.

No charge will be given if the transaction amount is exactly or above Php7000.00 but for transactions of Php6999.99 and lower, a Php50.00 charge will be applied.
All you need to apply is your bank name, bank code and your account number.
Here is the list of 9-digit Philippine bank codes
Thanks to Pinoy Money Talk for the details.

This is great news! Thanks for the info!
GREAT news indeed!!
@Jeco, have you applied your eon to their online banking? Inside online banking panel, you can email them there and you’ll get quick response. That’s where I got my 4-digit expanded code quickly.
yes i did applied eon online w/ success, emailed them a couple of times pero no reply till now. told them my problem too. got another credit card added but i still neeed to wait for my next statement for the 4 no. to show up.
Have you added funds to your eon? Kung hindi pa, lagyan mo muna to get it fully activated. Kung meron naman na sya, the problem is with EON support na talaga…
Bad talaga yung customer care ng EON, buti na lang marami na taung options ngaun. Thanks for informing us…
yes bad tlga pero sa mga kasamahan ko sa opis ok naman walang problem, depende rin cguro sa branch, but i guess mauuna pa yung isa kong card kesa EON on getting my 4 digit code, sakit sa ulo tlga! when i need o get money from paypal palpak pa!
pwede ko ba i-add yung EON as bank account? para no fees for 7k up.
ilang weeks ba hanggang ma approved yung EON application? I applied online then walang reply, nag apply ako sa branch nila, 2 weeks na wala pang reply. Ano kaya nangyari? maganda sana yung sa visa electron ng ePCI kaso BDO na ngayon tapos di pa pwede yung international debit card nila. any other ways for this?
