I have visited a friend’s directory earlier which catched my attention. It is Qoobe Web Directory owned by Eli, a fellow seophilippines member.

The directory catched my attention as I have noticed the pricing while trying to submit one of my site. A featured link costs around $39.95 which turned my eyes up and down knowing that it’s new, so I decided to take a better look of the site and make my own review of it.

Let’s first take its look and design. The design is very much like any other web directory, categories and a few sub-category on the frontpage, search form on the sidebar and place for some links. What I liked with it is that it doesn’t show any annoying ads on its page giving it a more decent feel for directory submission addict like me.

Browsing through the categories, I have noticed the deep levels of sub-categories providing much targetted places for link submitters. Try going to Top -> Computers -> Internet ->Web_Design_and_Development ->Promotion to see what I mean.

Qoobe Web Directory doesn’t accept adult and other similar sites that offers illegal stuffs which shows that this directory will be full of quality listings.

Seo-friendly. Knowing that the Qoobe runs on phpld, I am pretty sure that this will be search engine friendly and that Eli, as a fellow seophilippines member, will surely turn this directory with some good and honest exposures.

Now, let’s go back to the pricing…

$39.95 Featured Listing – Paying this on an annual basis, I am pretty sure that it is worth it. With the site’s full potential, being on top of its listings will surely be a big hit for one’s site.

$10.95 Express Submission – For those looking forward on gaining some nice pr in the next update, taking an express submission is one good answer.

Regular Links With Reciprocal – For those who can’t afford, this will be a nice way for building your links.

Regular Links – For Non-profit sites, taking advantage of this offer is a must, there’s nothing to loose but much to gain.

For overall views. I know that Qoobe Web Directory just priced it fair as I am seeing one successful directory out of it in the future.
