I was worried about this also. Although trying to squeeze in extra work right now will not affect your new TBPR I don't think. the tool bar pr update is just a push of what google has already decided internally to the tool bar. Keep working on links and great content nonetheless cause the next update is merely 3-4 months away :) yeah. I was worried about this also.
