If you’re about to promote your video, find existing videos in youtube similar to your niche which already has tons of views or those uploaded by users who are really getting good traffic via their uploaded videos, then copy their tags to the video you’re uploading.

The logic is that whenever their video is watched, your video will appear in their related videos in the sidebar which will give you lot more possible views.

So to make everything short, there is really a hole into the article dashboard script. And as the script is widely used by hundreds or even thousands of webmasters, this is something huge if the hack will spread. Someone asked me on how to do it saying that every article dashboard user should know it so they can protect their sites but I didn’t gave it thinking that it might fell into wrong hands so what I’ll just do is to give tips on how to protect your site.

If you’re using a cpanel, here’s a quick tutorial:

1. On the homepage of your admin panel, click the password protect directories button
2. Navigate to the directory that you want to protect
3. Click on the tick box next to the icon
4. Optional, enter the name that you want to appear in the protected resource name.
5. Then click on the save button.
6. Finally, add an authorize user to enable access to the directory.

I have done this to article directories that I own, and it works perfectly against the recent exploit. Hope this will help others too..

• Free Promotion. Article sites serves as circulation center for contents. You submit and others reprint it to their sites giving your writings a bigger audience so you should always grab the opportunity, write something sensible enough to gain interest.
• No Expirations. Once you submit, it sticks as long as the article directory stays alive and even continue to spread as others reprint your article. Unlike buying links for months or years.

There are still some other reasons like giving your business a personality or style but the ones I’ve mentioned above seems to be the top among others.

I was even affected by that revelation, some of my friends and relatives now keep on asking me how much I make online, and I always tell them, no… I don’t earn like Yuga!!!

What I do is lead them into a certain discussion in the seophilippines forum wherein there’s a number of members posting screenshots of their earnings. And for every person that I lead to that page, they were always amazed with how much the seo guys earns…

There are some who earns from adsense, text link ads, adbrite, amazon, domain parking and a lot more. Just be aware that it wasn’t made overnight by these guys, they have spent time and hard work for all of it.

But facing reality, there are really lots of Pinoys making big time in the web and I personally know some of them though I can’t reveal here as I haven’t asked their permission if I can mention their names as they always go low profiled – they don’t want to be the next boybastos
